Join RGV Chess & Learning Center for a fun afternoon of pizza, chess, and community! Pizza & Pawns is a family-friendly chess event where players of all ages and skill levels can enjoy casual games, meet fellow chess enthusiasts, and support our mission of bringing chess education and opportunities to children across the Rio Grande Valley.

No entry fee is required — just come out, play some chess, enjoy great food, and help us remove barriers so every child has the opportunity to learn and grow through chess.

A portion of proceeds from the event will support RGV Chess & Learning Center programs, including our Sponsor a School Initiative and efforts to bring chess opportunities to underserved students throughout the RGV.
