Championship Titles:
Champions in each section will earn the official Texas Chess Association Junior Champion title for their age division. Only Texas residents are eligible to receive state champion titles.

Eligibility:
This is an official US Chess and Texas Chess Association rated tournament. All players must have a current US Chess membership (valid through August 2026) and a current TCA membership. Open to players Under the age of 21 as of August 15th, 2026.

The U8, U11, and U15 sections will be US Chess rated and USCF Rules will be strictly enforced. The U21 section will be both US Chess and FIDE rated and FIDE Laws of Chess will be enforced.
