Pizza & Pawns is a community chess fundraiser hosted by RGV Chess and Learning Center and Parry’s Pizza, bringing together students, families, and supporters for an evening of food, fun, and purpose. This event helps raise support to expand chess programs across Rio Grande Valley schools—especially Title I campuses. Guests enjoy great pizza while participating in or watching friendly chess games, all in support of a mission to grow confidence, critical thinking, and academic success in local students through chess.
